Rose looked at Hawk curiously. "Yeah, I was wonderin' th' same thing..."
Hawk took a swig of wine before replying thoughtfully. "Y'know...after spendin' me whole life without family, 'thout any real friends...an' findin' such an amazin' crew, who sticks t'gether...through thick an' thin, who shows such loyalty...an' findin' meself a crazy dad and an even crazier sister..." He grinned fondly at Rose, who swatted his shoulder, and then back to Maria. "I don' think I could leave," he finished, honestly.

Evelyn smiled at him as he took the gift. She shook her head slightly at his comments but gave a short laugh nonetheless. As he bent over a bit she took the necklace in her hands and lifted a brow. "Hey, hey...I can' help it if God made me short woman...besides mate, ye know good things come in small crates, ever heard tha' one before?" Evelyn asked him.
As he bent over she moved in and tied the necklace about his neck, lingering just a few moments, as she finished and let her hands run over his shoulders, and then she pulled away. "Ahem...well there ye are. Hope ye like it. Its no much...but its a bit o' me I guess." Evelyn said giving a short laugh. She looked him over briefly and then bit her lip again. She looked past him as she noticed Artemis and she grew a bit nervous.
"Well I guess...er...I'll be...er..." she ran a hand through her cruls and groaned. "Gah, I'm not good at good-bye's mate." With that she threw herself at him and embraced him tightly, resisting the urge to pull him down for a small kiss. "I'm gonna miss ye." She told him softly.

* Maria smiled at Hawk's response* " 'm glad ye feel tha' way mate.." * She cupped her head in her hands and smiled softly* " Ev'ry bloody year this crew grows bigger and crazier... Can you believe wha' will become of us in 10 years?" * She said to Rose.* " The Pearl will be a floatin' assylum" * She said jokingly bringing the mug up to her lips to find that it was empty, as it always was.*

Sarah smiled at Hawk's response. I'm glad you'll be staying with Jack, maybe I'll see you again if Jack will let me join him on his next adventure. Sarah took a sip of what she thought was cider, but tasted like alcohol. She handed it to Maria. I'm not sure if you knew, but I live with the Turners, at Port Royale. I'm only a temporary member of Jack's crew, I don't think I could leave Port Royale, or the Turners, to actually have a career being a pirate.

::Jack and Dionysus faced off. A look of proud determination written on their faces. The last glass.......::
::It all came down to this....Jack was sure he'd win. He could still see sort of straight...Dionysus was just as confident....he was only seeing two of Jack....and it was normally when he saw triplets that he was gone.......::
::glasses lifted. drinks went down. both faltered. and both of their faces hit the table together, completly out:
::The gods around erupted in laughter and cheers. A tie. both gave out at the same time. Laughing still some of the gentler gods hurried over to help sober up teh "champions"....each sure he'd beaten the other....::

*As Will held Elizabeth lovingly he raised a brow and glanced over at Jack and Dionysus singing and he burst into laughter. Somehow...the two just seemed to make a perfect pair. Will looked back at Elizabeth and he kissed her forehead.* You just had to go teach him that song didn't you! *He grinned, winking at her. Then suddenly he felt a huge hand clasp his shoulder and he spun around quickly. His eyes went wide as he stared at Hephaestus then he grinned and gave a nod.* Thank you Hephaestus. A craftsman is always pleased to hear his work is appreciated. *He said, his smile growing. A compliment from a God was a high one indeed. And Will had always taken great pride in his work, even when no one appreciated him for it. When he heard two loud bangs his eyes shot towards Jack and Dionysus who were both out cold, their faces flat on the table and Will laughed, glancing at Elizabeth.* I think Dionysus finally found his match. *He grunted, shaking his head a little. It was a trip that would be as memorible as his first with Jack Sparrow, and he was even happier that he could end it here, on Mount Olympus with Elizabeth.*
*Eric laughed and nodded as Evelyn asked if he'd heard the saying before. He was slowly beginning to believe it. His smile lingered as her hands paused about his shoulders when she put the necklace on him. He rose back to his feet and turned to face her as she spoke.* It's a small token but...it means a lot. *He said, following her gaze back towards Artemis. When he saw the goddess his heart skipped a beat and sank into his stomach. It was time, this was it. He knew he had to say goodbye now. As Evelyn spoke, his eyes went back to her and suddenly she embraced him. He wrapped his arms about her tightly, resting his chin atop her head as he shut his eyes.* I'll miss you too, Evy. *He whispered, holding her still. He never wanted to part from her. He wanted this moment to last forever, however after lingering a moment longer he slowly pulled away. He gazed at her for a long moment and then smiled warmly.* Goodbye. *Eric said, his voice still barely above a whisper. Turning quickly, he hurried over to Artemis.*
*Artemis smiled gently as Eric hurried back over to her. She placed her hand gently upon his shoulder and then looked towards Evelyn. She knew the pain these two faced in this moment, but knew also that with time it would heal. She smiled at the lass and then at Eric.* Once I sent you back to Port Royal you cannot come back, Eric. Are you sure you are ready to leave? *She asked.*
I'm as ready as I'll ever be. *He said sadly with a heavy sigh. Artemis nodded and raised her head, again engulfing him in a gentle glow. Suddenly he turned and looked upon Evelyn one last time with loving eyes.* Evelyn! For whatever it's worth...I'm sorry. *He called to her, and with one last smile he was gone.*
*Artemis walked over to Evelyn and smiled gently, giving her a small nod as if to confirm that Eric was gone, back in Port Royal once more. Slowly she turned and with one last glance at Evelyn she walked away.*

Hawk nodded at Sarah. "Well, I never 'xpected t'become part o'this crazy bunch...'s all Rose an' Hermes's fault, really...I do 'ope you'll come sail with us again soon, though," he added in a softer tone, and it was clear he meant it.
Rose laughed at what Maria had said. "Like we're not already, mate!" she said brightly, clapped her friend on the back, then cheered as Jack and Dionysus both collapsed, rushing out to help Jack into sobriety - or as sober as Jack ever got, anyway - and to cheerfully greet some of the gods.
Hawk shook his head. "God, that girl'd be comfortable anywhere...Tortuga, Port Royale, Olympus..." He slowly got up and went after her to help Jack up again.

* Maria grinned as Rose and Hawk both went to help Jack into sobriety. She sighed and turned to Sarah, who had set the rum filled mug down on the table.* " So yer returnin' te Port Royal? You sure you won't come with us? It'll be fun!" * She said smiling brightly at her friend*

Evelyn embraced him until he pulled away from her, deep down, she hoped he would change his mind. Perhaps he would be the one to stop this, to say, 'No it doesn' matter. I'll stay.' But instead he left her side and she watched him go sadly. "Eric..." Evelyn said softly. When he turned to her and apologized Evelyn lifted her brows. No...she didn't want it to end like this, he shouldn't apologize.
"NO! Wait! Eric!" But before she could run to him, he was gone. She stopped dead in her tracks and sulked. Artemis came to her and Evelyn looked to the goddess with pure hatred in her eyes. She needed somewhere to vent her frustrations...she had him away from her...
Evelyn glared at her as she passed her by and then sighed. She rubbed the back of her neck and suddenly gave a low growl. He really was gone...probably forever and it hurt. As she took a seat upon a bench she looked about. In the distance, she could see Jack in his drinking battle with Dionysus which, seemingly, ended in a tie. She gave a small laugh but she could not bring herself to enjoy the surroundings or anything at the moment. She only looked to the ground.
She felt a part of her was missing...there was no one to comfort her in her pain at the moment...nothing could. It was then she felt a hand upon her shoulder and she looked up suddenly. Evelyn blinked and lifted a brow. Next to her sat a tall woman clad in silver and blue, a flowing gown with a spear in hand and a beatiful helmet of war atop her head. The woman's eyes were stern and she looked wise and aged, yet still with a youthful vigor.
"You are the famous, Evelyn, are you not?" The woman spoke as she lifted a brow. Her voice echoing in her mind and was as smooth as honey. Yet her eyes held a strong sense in her. An owl hooted nearby, although Evelyn could not spot where it was perched.
"I am...an' who in the bloody 'ell are you?" she asked her lifting a brow and reaching for the hilt of her blade catiously.
"I am Athena, daughter to Zeus. The Goddess of War and of the most useful tool given to man...Wisdom." She spoke proudly, as she gripped her spear tightly. "I have watched you, Evelyn, I see my sister Aphrodite has had her fun with you." She said with a soft growl looking in no particular direction. "But I see wisdom in you, although you may not see it, you have a quality I do like. There is a hardiness in you, that is not easily found. You must control your temper, Evelyn. Set your mind free, let this rule over your actions." Athena spoke sternly as if attempting to bore these thoughts in her.
"I see Eric has left you." She stated plainly as she looked in the direction of Artemis.
Evelyn groaned a bit and sighed heavily. "Yea...I don' know if I should 'ave stopped him." Evelyn began to say as she looked out into the distance. "I should have kept him here...maybe...er, er, maybe gone back with him...I mean...I never told 'im...but...I think I loved 'im." Evelyn said as she dropped her head and an aching feeling grew within her.
Athena smiled down upon her and spoke again. "Love is a very tricky thing indeed...many have many different takes upon it, for love can be many different things...taking many different forms." She said with a deep sigh. "I do not know what lies in your heart, Evelyn, but I do know what is in your mind. You have made the right choice." She said simply. "In your mind...that is. All is logical, and precise there, I see it. You spoke with the best intentions and so you have indeed made the right choice, though you're heart may ache do not let it conquer you. I have seen too many fall into the traps of following a heart. You have found that your mind is the best to trust, and this is very much so." Athena told her sternly.
"Love is for those who are fortunate enough. You are fortunate, should love be meant for you, you WILL see him again. For the moment, however you have taken the right path." Athen looked Evelyn over and smiled. "You are a bright, smart, hearty soul. I expect I will be watching you very closely over the years. Remember...the mind is the best tool awarded to man. Do not toss it away so needlesly." Athena spoke as she stood. "However, the smartest thing to do...can also be the most wrong..." Athena spoke once more as she began to walk away.
Evelyn looked on as she left and she held nothing but admiration for her. Still, all that she said was right. Although she doubted she'd controle her temper much in the future. Evelyn sighed heavily and sniffled, Eric was gone...
Evelyn felt hollow now...nothing could fill this space...perhaps nothing else ever would...

Sarah smiled at Hawk. Yes, I hope I will be able to join this crazy crew again for yet another voyage...Sarah smiled. She did indeed love this crew, they were like family. But, the Turners were the only family she had. She couldn't abandon them after they've done so much for her. Besides, she enjoyed living at Port Royale. Her gaze shifted to Evelyn and Eric when suddenly, Eric disappeared. Sarah was about to do a double take when Maria spoke. Yes, I'm sure I would have a wonderful time with you and the crew, but...I have duties at Port Royale. It's my home, partically, the sea is really where I feel most at home, but no the less. I can't just leave. Sarah trailed off, suddenly feeling rather homesick, yet not ready to leave, then again, who would want to leave Mount Olympus.

After what seemed like hours, Evelyn stood and looked around. She would put this whole event behind her. Eve had perservered through far worse before, and so she would live on as she always has, a rogue even amongst the rogues of the seas. She gripped the hilt of her sword and looked towards the crew with a sly grin.
She made her way towards them with a mischivious glint in her eye and she grabbed herself some more wine, making the once empty goblet now overflow with the red liquid. Gulping it down quickly she looked about, Mt. Olympus was beautiful, probably the most beautiful place she would ever see, but it was not the Pearl, it wasn't black sails, a bow, or its helm.
As much as Mt. Olympus offered them, she wanted to get back to the seas, for as of this moment Eve had changed a bit...she had not a care in the world anymore, it was simply herself and the crew from now on. That was all there is and all there should be...she back to not having any attachments, having anyone to answer to...unless it was Jack really but he basically shouted a suggestion or two.
She was back to the way she's been for years, free, a rascal....a pirate.
