:Jack nodded soberly: "Aye.....I want to be on deck...can someone turn the ship around so we can get the kiddies home before the sun sets?" He asked calmly. Finally he seemed to be settling down, the shock of what happened starting to kick in now.:

Aye, allright then Jack.* She says softly and directs him to a nearby barrel helping him to sit down, leaving Rick to change the ships course. She digs out an earthenwear flask glazed purpl with a dragon coiled on the front and unscrews the top* 'Ere mate drink some of this. *She says handing the flask of rum over to Jack*

:Jack nodded, looking around him then tried to take a mental count: "Is everyone in one piece?" He asked. "Everyone's safe? The crew?" he seemed very concerned about this. "The kiddies? They're not in shock are they? Will's seen them again right?"
:He took a sip of rum. He seemed to have lost his mind....or found it right afterwards because he was humming his song under his breath ,still watching the crew on the deck.:
:He frowned over at the Cutlass: "'E's not gone.......if he was dead I'd feel it...he's still out there..."

Aye Jack everyones well that I know of. Will's been protecting Elizabeth's cabin ever since he's been back on board and I've been tending to Tobbs. She's still sleepin' That's about all I know really. *She laid her hand gently on the captains shoulder and nodded slowly. She believed him when he said he'd know if Barbossa were dead.* It's all right Jack, we'll find 'im again someday.

Rick took Arayel's place at the wheel.With a glance at the sun's position,he began to ease the Pearl around.He was perfectly used to this task,being a second-generation pirate.All seemed to be well-their task was accomplished,the crew was safe,and they were on their way back to Port Royal-but somehow he sensed that something was wrong.He looked over at Emma,who looked as though she were about to cry.
Emma felt like collapsing herself when she heard what happened to Saber.She felt disappointed,hopeless,and angry at Barbossa for causing harm to befall her friend.For a moment,she couldn't think of anything to say.Finally,she spoke."Kat's gonna kill me..."
She shook her head and busied herself helping Arayel with the captain,humming the song quietly in an attempt to calm herself.She helped Evelyn get rid of the bodies on the deck.Finally,she was overwhelmed with grief,and sat on the deck with her head in her hands.

:Jack looked at Emma then eased himself near her: "I'm sorry lass..." He said. "We'll find Saber soon enough, savvy?" He meant it. He wasn't one to let one of his crew become abandoned. He'd go looking for her soon enough:

Emma smiled weakly at Jack,the smirk on her lips betrayed by the sadness in her eyes."Aye...savvy,"she replied.The small part of her that was suceptible to logic knew that Jack wouldn't let one of his crew be abandoned,and that they had to get the Turners to safety soon.But that didn't stop it from hurting by a long shot.With a sigh,she pulled a flask of rum from one of her pockets and drank deeply.

*Will turned to go back in the cabin when he heard a loud bang. He instinctivly hit the deck, glancing over his shoulder towards the Cutlass, or at least what was once the Cutlass. A smile crossed his lips.* Nice one. *He said, then leapt back up and glanced about the deck in search of Jack. The smile quickly left his face when he realized that he wasn't around, and he almost wondered if he'd ended up like the Cutlass. Then Evelyn went overboard and when she came back on deck with the help of some others he saw Jack with her. He smiled a little, happy at least that his friend wasn't lying at the bottom of the ocean in a million pieces. He patted Jack on the shoulder but he wasn't concious. Then he remembered his family once again. Now that the fight was over he rushed back into the cabin, standing in the doorway he smiled to Elizabeth* Its over for now at least. We're ready to go back home. *He said then he rushed up to her and pulled her into a loving hug, glad that she was alright and unhurt. Then he did the same to the twins. Pulling them close to him and holding them tightly, despite the pain still in his side. Then he kissed each of their foreheads before rising to his feet again.* Im so happy you're safe. Im sorry that happened, daddy will never let anything happen to you again. *He said softly, then he went to the dresser and pulled the bandages from it. Removing his blood soaked one he'd made from cloth earlier, he replaced it with the new one and then went back out to Jack, glad to see the captain was up on his feet again. He approached him and placed his hand on Jacks shoulder. Then he smiled.* Thanks Jack, for helping me get my children back. I couldn't have done it without you. *He said just as the twins came out on deck. He looked at them, then back to Jack and he smiled again.*

:Jack gave Will a nod and a grin, uncharacteristically sober: "Aye....thanks for giving me the chance......" He grinned at the twins. "Do me a favor and try not to kidnapped again savvy?" They just nodded at him, still not sure how to react to him really. As for the most part when they'd seen him he'd been out of his mind.:
:Jack turned to Will: "Well mate....I think it's time to go home.........what do you think?" He said, looking a bit weary. "I'll get you and your kiddies and Elizabeth back to shore......and I think Norrington will forgive me if I don't don't stick around all that long......" He smiled at Will. "Remind me to not visit for a while.....you seem to cause trouble for me when I'm around...."

*Will laughed when Jack told the twins not to get kidnapped again, then he grinned and shook his head slowly.* If they have the same sort of luck I do im sure this isn't the end of it. *Will said, then he nodded his head at the mention of going back to Port Royale. Then he laughed at what Jack had to say about reminding him to stay away as Will caused him a lot of trouble. He just grinned and looked out at the horizon.* I'll remind you, but I doubt that'll change anything. *Will said, giving Jack a sidelong look.*

:Jack laughed and nodded: "aye......we seem to be born to cause trouble you and I mate....." He smiled faintly at the sea and looked at his crew. All but one was accounted for. And he'd find Saber soon. With that Jack gave Will a pat on the back.
"Glad its over for now mate....." With that Jack's head sort of moved forward, and he nodded off to sleep, still sitting upright in front of his wheel:

*Elizabeth sighed in relief as Will stood in the door and returned his embrace gently aware of his injury. She smiled as he held the twins and promised not to let anything happen to them again. She moved to help him bandage his side and her hand lingered on the injury for but a moment and she looked up at him with gentle eyes. her and the children followed him up on decks and towards Jack. She gave the slightly unsteady captain a hugged and a whispered* Thank you Jack * before going to stand near her husband. She couldn't help but laugh as will speculated over their childrens luck. It seemed the entire family's fate was to be interwoven with piracy and danger.* Look at it this way will, at least our lives will never be boring. *she smiled and laid her head on his shoulder.* I'll be happy to be safe at home for a while before the next adventure though. *She said with a slight smile*

Evelyn finished dumping the bodies and looked at Emma. "We'll find yer friend mate." Evelyn reassured her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Then she headed for the supplies and found a bucket and mop. As she stepped onto the deck once more she noticed all the blood staining the decks. She sighed heavily. "Ah...this will take me a while..." she said and began to mop away. As Evelyn neared where Jack stood she called out. "So Jack...just to be sure an' all...does this make me a part of yer crew?" Evelyn asked. "I mean I did join this little voyage a bit unformerly, wouldn't ye say?" she asked with asmirk looking up at him from the mopping.

* Maria had pulled up a chair to the bow and sat down resting her feet on the edge. The relaxation had came back into her own mind and could not over hear Evelyns request to join the crew*

*Events had followed up quickly when Jack had heard some shouting outside. So she walked out of the crowded cabin upon the deck just as the Cutlass blew up. The force of the blow swept her off her feet and made her fall backwards as a load of seawater washed over her. Around her Maria was already busy with saving those in the water. Jacqueline picked herself up again and watched the wreck of the Cutlass slowly sinking.*
" Now that was fun!"
*Was her sarcastic view of the whole event. Looking around she watched patiently as the many happy reunitings took place and leaned against the mastpole. Hoping she would dry up soon again...*
