*Arayel looked Sympathetically at Tobbs, the tears falling from her eyes. She seemed like such a brave woman before, now, heart broken and sobbing, she seemed like she almost neede to be sheltered. But Arayel knew better. True strength never left a person. it just hid away for a while, allowing the other feelings to come through. She smiled gently at her and Jack as she stepped further into the room. She watched as Jack moved to pick up a small piece of porcelain. He inhaled sharply in pain and she could see the angle of the wrist and tell from there it was broken.* Well we'll have to fix that won't we? *She said calmly and slowly. moving towards Jack in as non threatening a way as possible.* Tobbs, can ye do me a favor, try and keep him as clam as posible. I need to set that wrist and the more he fidgets the more it's going to hurt . *She says as she tears her one remaining sleeve away and into strips. Gently she kneels next to the bed and takes the porcelain from his hand, dropping it on the floor* I'm not going to hurt ye mate. *She says in a soothing sing songish voice. As she takes his wrist gently and Tobbs moves to help distract him from what Arayel is about to do. Jack looks nervously from one to the other and whimpers, fidgeting as Arayel takes hold of his wrist, she looks at him compassionately, her emerald eyes watering at the corners. As swiftly and painlessly as possible Arayel resets the bone and then wraps the strips of cloth about Jacks wrist binding it securely* There Capitaine, that should help ease the pain at least a bit. *she says as she sits back on her heels, dashing away the unbidden tears*

:Jack jerked back at first, and then huddled back up againest the headboard, looking at the person coming towards hima as a serious threat. But he didn't move:
:When she touched his wrist and reset it, he gave a strangled cry and twisted away a bit, then fidgeted as she bound it up. He started shaking again and scrambled out of their reach, back towards a corner. He leaned back into teh wall, and sunk to teh floor, and stared back at them now, eyes widened and fearful:
:He might have done something very stupid then, but he was to tired. If he was to die....and he certainly thought he was....he was going to die in this damn corner...he figured he could fight for that much. His eyes flickered and he put his face in his folded arms, and slowly, very slowly drifted back into his own nightmares:

*Jacqueline quickly dragged Barbossa in and out of alleys to avoid being seen. In one rare case she actually pretended her to be drunk with Barbossa, who had been having problems walking anyway. When they reached the ship Jacqueline quickly dropped Barbossa on the deck, leaving him to try and make it to his cabin alone...and released the ropes, made sure the sails were raised and ordered to sail the ship out of the harbor. When after some quarreling all things seemed to go as planned she made her way to Barbossa, helped him into his cabin and plopped him on his chair. A quick thought entered her mind..."there was no Clarion!" and a grin formed on her face. Then she returned her attention to the Captain.* "Tis a nice wound ye got 'here Capt'n! Lemme 'ave a look at it...Got any rum to clean it out?"

* Maria watched as emotions touched the hearts and faces of every one in the room. As Jack huddled in the corner and drifted away hear heart broke even more. The tears swelled up even more. The man who raised her had no idea who she was nor any of the other crew member, not even Tobbs. She too felt the need to shrivel up in a corner, but she had to be strong. She had to fight this obstacle. she sat down next to Tobbs. She had remebering her quaint little bird in her hand, the sparrow, it seemed odd now. She lay down and sobbed until she had no more tears to cry.Was she alone in a world no one could understand. She thought so.*

*Shortly after Will had brought Tobbs upstairs to the bedroom Jack was being kept in he left to get his children into bed. He told them a quick story to make them happy although his tone was sad and quiet. Catherine and James knew to leave well enough alone so they let their father be for the remainder of the night and they went to bed.* Thank you for your help today you two. And I know a lot of things are going on right now that are going to be confusing to you but its very important that you listen to me and mommy closely from now on alright. *He said, standing up off the edge of their bed. They nodded slowly and he kissed their foreheads. They exchanged I love you's and goodnight's then Will made his way to his own bedroom. Just before he got there he heard a loud crash and followed Arayel into the bedroom. He saw Tobbs with Jack and couldn't even imagine the pain that this woman was going through not having the Captain recognize her. He noticed Tobbs had set the ruined basin outside the door in a pillowcase. Not wanting the twins to get ahold of any of the broken pieces he brought it to the trashcans outside then returned back upstairs. Now Jack was crouched in a corner and Wills heart shattered. Jack was an entirely different person. He seemed as fragile and as frightened as a small child and all his former bravo was gone. Will glanced about at the crew members in the room and he sighed heavily.* Maybe it would be best if we left Jack alone for the night. We don't seem to be helping matters much as Jack doesn't recognize us as his friends but as a threat and we don't need to put any more troubles on his mind right now. Let Tobbs stay with him and the rest of us can try to catch some rest. Please. *Will said, turning back to Jack. He wanted desperatly to go over to him and let him know everything was going to be okay, but he didn't want to frighten the man. Looking away sadly Will led the crew out of the room then went back to his own, lying down on the bed he surprisingly fell right to sleep.*

*Arayel moved slowly to a chair in the darkened room, glancing at Tobbs a moment, thnen back to Jack. The man whom she had come to think of as Captain. Of all she had ever heard of the man, all she had ever known, she could see none of it in this frail figure huddled in on himself. Where was the strong competent man that all the tales had told of? To think that such a strong spirit had been broken so easily. she could feel more tears fall down her face the more she thought about it. He still seemed wary, even in the midst of slumber.* Mon Capitaine, *she said in a soft whisper, her voice breaking slightly* Please... you have to get better. *She glanced over to Tobbs who was comforting another young woman who had come in unbeknownst to Arayel.* Tobbs needs ye.... We all need ye, a crew is no good without their Capitaine. Mon capitaine vous ne pouvez pas veuillez nous laisser. *She sobbed reverting to her native french in her sorrow*

*Tobbs had cried softly sitting there, but when she saw Jack draw back in pain when he tried to pick up a broken piece she'd failed to get, she immediately stood and wiped her tears away.*
*She tried her best to distract Jack as his wrist was set in place and bound, and when he fled to a corner, her heart ached, she almost wanted to find her own corner and shrivel up, mayhap even die, but she realised something...*
*She had to be strong for the crew, her friends, and most of all, for Jack. So, wiping away the tears yet again, letting the sorrow in her eyes behold the sorrow she showed, she comforted Maria and was able to get her to stand, telling her all would soon be well and she needed not to worry.*
*Seeing Will enter, she nodded her head to his words and watched as he led everyone out, then shut the door quietly. She looked over at Jack, who was still in his corner, though he seemed asleep, which she thought twas a good thing for him to be for he needed rest.*
*Picking up an extra blanket that was lying upon a table in the room, she covered him up as quietly as possible so not to wake him. Then, going back to the chair, she curled up in it, though she closed her eyes not once in sleep, but kept them upon either Jack, the door, or the window, her hand on her hilt, making sure no one entered without being seen or heard.*

:Jack woke up in the morning, still crouched in the corner. It was just before dawn. He glanced around, still...not to sure of where he was just yet. He looked to Tobbs, who'd fallen asleep, then to the window:
:He wondered vaguly if he should try to get out of the room, but he stood shakily, and looked around first. he couldn't seem to decide what to do yet. Then he caught sight of something. A mirror...in the far corner of the room. He walked over slowly, then peered at his reflection:
:What he saw wasn't a person he recognized as.....well...he had a vague idea of who he was.....but he didn't know exactly who was looking back at him. the absence of the beard and kohl might have had something to do with it...and that fact that he'd been scrubbed clean. The injuries to his face were strange to him. He touched his temple, and ran his faingers along the gash there, and winced, and looked at the pale skin:
:He wasn't making a connection between himself and the reflection. With shaking hands he looked at the tattoo of the sparrow on his cut and bandaged forarm, then around the room once more:

*Tobbs woke when a ray of sunlight shone into the room. She was glad she'd rested a bit, she'd need it for the days to come. When she looked at the corner where Jack had been, she almost gasped.*
*He wasn't there! The window was open slightly, the door was closed, so she knew not how he could've gotten away, and she was about to blame herself when she saw him standing by the mirror.*
*She saw him somewhat studying the reflection before him, and when she saw him look at the sparrow tattoo on his arm, she hoped it would bring a rememberance back to his mind. Mayhap when he saw the rose tattoo too?*
*She ran her finger along the golden sword charm upon the necklace he'd given her, and she began to ponder how to help him remember things. Standing slowly and approaching as un enemy-like as she could when he looked around the room once more, she smiled softly and made sure to stop a bit away from him and closer to the wall so he'd not feel like she was barricading him in a corner or not letting him by.*
"Jack..."
*She paused for a moment, trying to rack her brain further.*
"It's I, Tobbs, Victoria. Mayhap ye've forgotten me, but remember fer now and on, I'll not 'urt ye, I'll protect ye or give me life up."
*She knew he'd probably not understand her words or even listen to them, but she had to try. Again, she smiled and nodded her head in respect, then walked to the door and called for Anna to bring up some food for Jack.*

*Will woke up the next morning, dressed and tied his hair back, then went into the twins room to make sure they were alright. They'd had a tiring day yesterday and were still asleep so he let them be. Then he went downstairs and helped Elizabeth and Abigail prepare the food for the crew. He made a special plate for Tobbs and Jack then took them upstairs and slipped into the room. Tobbs was near the wall and Jack was glancing about. Will frowned, able to tell the man was still utterly confused. He sighed and walked over to Tobbs handing her a plate of the food then held one out to Jack.* I don't know if you're hungry Jack but I brought you some breakfast. *Will said, then remembered Jacks poisoning and he frowned again, pulling the plate back towards himself.* Im sure you don't trust that its not poisoned, if you want I'll take the first bite of it, or you can come downstairs with me and watch me fix you something...unless you can trust an old friend Jack. *Will said softly, holding the plate out again.*

(OOC: Oooo, Frenchness! I could be wrong, but I think it might be "Vous ne pouvez pas esperer nous laisser...eh, I don't know, lol) ~Barbossa ::Barbossa was starting to feel sick. His head was swimming, and he could barely move. But then he saw that they had reached the docks, and he smiled faintly. The Cutlass loomed out of the black water before them, towering above all the other ships in the harbor. Well...not every ship::
::The Black Pearl was tied up nearby, seemingly deserted and ready for the taking. Barbossa pictured himself once again at her helm, sailing the seven seas, destroying entire towns, and hoarding all the treasure he could get his greedy hands on. But suddenly his head began throbbing, and he fell to his knees in the middle of the street::
::Jacqueline turned around and grabbed his good arm:: "C'mon, Cap'n, we're almost there..." ::After some effort, he stood back up and leaned against the building for support. He tried to focus his eyes on his ship, and grabbed Jacqueline's shoulder as she led him across the docks::
::They reached the deck, and Barbossa collapsed on the floor. He watched as Jacqueline walked away, and got the ship ready to sail. He lay there for what seemed like hours while the world spun around him. Eventually, he crawled over to the mast and sat back against it. He looked at the blood-stained sleeve of his coat and sneered. He had really liked this coat::
::Suddenly, Jacqueline noticed him trying to untie the tourniquet, and she came over to have a look:: "Ye got any rum, Cap'n?"::Barbossa thought for a moment, something was very easy for him in his current state, and finally nodded:: "Aye...there be some below deck....in the...the...." ::Suddenly, Barbossa fell over, unconscious::

:Jack glanced over hs shoulder at Tobbs, he'd seen her in the mirror moving around, when Will opened the door he backed away from him.:
:Then he looked from the plate of food to Will.....looked like he just might want to take it but didn't move. In fact, right now, he seemed more focused on Will and trying to figure him out. He had this wild urge to tease the hell outta him for some reason, but didn't say a word:
:In fact, his eyes seemed to be staring through Will now, trying to remember. But he couldn't. Frustrated, Jack's eyes started towater from anger, and he set his jaw:
:With clenched fists he turned away from Will, and walked over to the window to look out of it then looked back at Will, still trying to understand. He still seemed fearful of the two people near him, and backed near a corner, and once more, one of the candle holders:

Sarah silently walked into Jack's room. As she walked towards Will she slightly touched his shoulder, to let him know she was there. She walked towards Tobbs carrying a tray. Tobbs...I brought you some tea. I'm not sure if you drink it, but I thought it was a little to early for rum. An excited look suddenly came over Sarah's face as she set the tray down. What if...I'll be right back! Sarah went running down the stairs until she reached the kitchen. She quickly opened the cellar and pulled out some rum. Then she went running back upstairs and held the rum out to Tobbs and Will. What if we give Jack a taste of this, then he might remember some of his pirating life! Do you think it's worth a try!?

*Will frowned when Jack backed away from him, but he pretty much expected that so he said nothing. Then he noticed Jack kept watching him, quite intently and Will glanced over at Tobbs with a raised brow. He figured Jack must have sensed a familiarity about Will and was trying to figure out what it was so Will just stood there. Then Sarah came in and placed a hand on his shoulder.* Good morning Sarah. *He said, then watched Jack go to a corner of the room again and he watched him curiously. Sarah mentioned something about rum and Will nodded, still keeping an eye on Jack. It was clear his friend still thought of him as a threat and would treat him as such, so Will thought it best to stay on guard, just to be safe.*

:Jack's eyes went to Sarah then Will once more. he frowned and looked away, then made a lunge for the candleholder:
:He turned around and looked at Will. Yes...fighting..and this particular person seemed to go hand in hand...yes....a image of him fighting Will in the Blacksmith shop flashed in his mind. He'd been desparate for a escape then too:
:He made a swipe at Will. But Will was fast. He had a candelholder too, and made a damn good fight of it. Jack was too weak, but was giving Will a decent, if not desparate fight. Will was stronger and was merely blocking him. Jack's eyes began to grow paniced:
:He let out something like a cornered growl and backed away from Will, eyeing him with a almost annoyed glare. Jack backed into a corner, still gripping the steel rod in his hands, as best as he could. A soft sound made Jack turn his eyes towards the door, where two children stood. Jack froze where he stood and looked from them to Will:
