Once more.... 1. No spamming! 2. No swearing! 3. Keep ALL posts to at least five sentences... 4. Stay in character at ALL times! 5. If you have a question or comment, ask it in the proper thread! 6. READ ALL POST PRETAINING TO YOU, OR WHERE YOU ARE VERY CLOSELY. SAVVY?! 7. Have fun Here's the plot. It's been three years since anyone has seen so much of a hair bead of Jack Sparrow. Port Royale has been practically devoid of all pirate activity, as Commodore Norrington and Govener Swann have noted. A small gift from Jack Sparrow. He and his daughter Rose have taken to the Seas and havn't looked back. Will and Elizabeth have lived a relavity normal life, with only one visit from Jack and his crew a year after Sparrow escaped the noose and death at Barbossa's hands once more. Yet Barbossa has escaped, no longer immortal, but still seething with hate he goes in search of a way to destroy Jack Sparrow. After a long and difficult search he finds another of Jack's old enemies. A British officier in the Royal Navy...Lieutentant Clarion. Jack defeated Clarion years ago, in a raid on a British merchant vessel. Bitter, and ashamed young officer is still angry over the defeat. Together Barbossa and Clarion form a plot ro rid themselves of their common enemy. Barbossa disgueses himself as a member of the Royal Navy, now using the name Morgan Holland. Yet all is peaceful for a short time. Then news begins to spread in the Caribbean. A new settlement, new and unarmed settlement called Port Dantes is attacked. And not just any attack, but massacared. The small helpless population was brutally slaughtered. And left behind only one survivor at the main Port. Lietentant Clarion. He gives the navy a perfect description of Jack Sparrow and the Pearl naming those who attacked his Port. There is a problem however. Jack Sparrow is nowhere to be found, nor has he heard of the attack. He is in fact out searching for the last of his crew woman's family. Kat...Saber's sister. And he finds her in Tortuga...Kat. And something else happens Clarion didn't count on.... another person survived the battle....a young lady whom calls herself Raven. In Tortuga Jack is caught by the Navy and taken to Port Royale. There he meets a baffled and somewhat angered Norrington and a unsure Will and Elizabeth. And in the shadows waits Clarion and Barbossa, now seen as the heroic survivors of some horrible battle. Norrington's hands are tied. He is bound by the law, as is Governer Swann who can only ask for a delay in Jack's hanging. The Turners, having not seen Jack in three years, believe, or half believe the rumors....after all.....all evidence points to Jack. Will begs the crew of the Pearl to prove Jack's innocence, as the Captain awaits death in his cel. But he's not left alone. Clarion and Barbossa wish to break the man of his spirit. Helped along by small amounts of laudanum in his food and nightly tortures, Jack begins to loose his mind. All to late Clarion and Barbossa's plan is discovered by Jack's crew, who race to tell Norrington. However, they meet Clarion's loyal crew men, who engage the Black Pearl in a battle at Sea, delaying their voyage further. Yet they arrive in time, Norrington's own men sailing out to find the Pearl and escort her crew to Port Royale. Clarion is killed, at the hands of Jack's family and friends.....and Barbossa escapes again. Jack is left in ruins. His mind is gone and his body is weak and poisoned. Will and Elizabeth take him in, as his crew watches, hands tied and not sure of how to help him. For Jack doesn't seem to recongnize any of them, even his own dear Rose. To make matters worse the British Crown wants to kill Jack and plans to send a Royal Escort to Port Royale and hang him. If not for the massacre at Port Dantes, then for his many other crimes againest the Crown and it's Navy. This gives Jack less them a month to become strong again and set sail out into the Caribbean. His crew circle Port Royale as the days go by, visiting the Captain at the Turners, urging him to recover. But Jack's locked in his own shattered mind. In the end it is a attempt at the Turner child's life, on Rose....by Barbossa that Jack is forced to snap himself into reality once more. With the help of his crew, the Turenrs and friendships he's earned along the way, Jack sets out into the Caribbean, Captain of the Pearl once more. Have fun mates....

(sorry everyone, but we'll be leaving and arriving to Port Royale really quickly, as my thoughts of timing were off!) *Tobbs was able to gather a few good men and some supplies, and soon enough, the hole was patched up, and new supplies were being brought aboard.* *She sat upon a smooth wooden barrel just beside the ship, pondering over everything, trying to solve what went wrong, when, and why Jack and the crew had got mixed up in it. She remembered the time they last saw Norrington and his men, and when they fought Barbossa and the cursed. Twas like she could hear the metal swords clinging against eachother (unfortunately it was Rose and Hawk, not her imagination ),but her thoughts were disturbed by a tap on the shoulder. Standing, she knew twas time to sail to Port Royale.* *Calling all the crew aboard, she went back to the wheel and checked to see the crew were present. The anchor rose, and soon enough they were sailing.* *Twas later that day when they saw Port Royale from a distance through a spyglass. She noted Rose had been gone for some time, and she began to wonder what could be keeping her below...illness? anger? She knew not, but she'd be checking soon if she didnt see her soon. Looking back forward with the compass in hand, she almost glared at Port Royale. Aye, they'd be there soon...very soon...*

:Jack, who had spent quite a uncomfortable night in his cel, in a state of severe sickness, woke up and peered outside. he felt groggy still, and a bit confused. But he saw black sails. He nearly shouted with joy. The Pearl had come for him!:
:He looked at the ship from his cel window and watched her pull into the docks. He hoped they could convince Norrington to let him go. Or at least explain this mess to him. He sighed and lay back down on his bed. He felt ill still......like....somethign was draining energy out of him. He frowned and closed his eyes. He'd have to figure it out later....:

*Tobbs let the ship come alongside the docks with ease, her eyes searching for a familiar face. She could see none at the moment, so, sighing, she began helping the crew.*
*As she set foot on the docks, she looked suspiciously at an old man and an ickle boy beside him when they asked her name and for a shilling.*
"How about...no name, and I'll give ye four shillings"
*The man nodded and smiled* "Welcome aboard Miss Naimes!"
*Nodding, she walked by and slipped her hand in his pocket, taking out three shillings as she did so. Then she looked around...aye, there were guards and officers everywhere...she'd have to be careful.*
*She ran as fast as she could to the Turner home, pounding upon the door as she did so. She grinned when she saw Will and Elizabeth open it.*
"Ahoy there, me hearties!" "We saw you from the window and were about to go after you, but it seems you've found us first" "Indeed, it be a long tme since we last saw eachother! But we'll 'ave to catch up later...where be Jack?"

Emma worked as fast as she could, helping the men in Tortuga repair the boat. The work was soon done, and all the crew scrambled back on board, ready to get out of Tortuga. She couldn't blame them.
She did whatever she could on the short voyage to Port Royal-which was significantly less than she could have with an uninjured arm,but still a considerable bit.Still, she felt rather useless, not able to climb in the rigging and do any of the work she was used to.As Port Royal became clearer in the distance, she bit her lip, leaning on the edge of the boat. This wasn't going to be easy...
She looked down at her useless arm, wondering how long it'd take to heal. She had little doubt that she'd still be useful in a fight, but sailing wasn't the same when she couldn't climb...She sighed, remembering her days as a girl on the Hawk's Eye...Then drove the thoughts from her mind. She couldn't afford to be hurt as well as depressed. But she did allow one thought to stay in the front of her mind.
"I couldn't help me old crew,"she said, softly enough that only she could hear."I won't let me new friends down.I can't lose these ones,too..."
Just then, the ship pulled in to Port Royal, and she busied herself helping the crew, however she could.

:Jack's eyes dididn't open for a while. He just listened. He was silently memorizing the sounds of a guard's footsteps...guessing where they were going. and tried to remember the interior of the fort. He knew there was a level abovehim, then the top level were the cannons were. Norington's office was....above him...or he thought it was. The gallow were in the central court yard..he remembered that clearly.;
:With a sigh he looked around his cel. TRying to think of something to do. He was hungry...and desperatly wanted some rum right now. finally he just started talking again, for somethingto do.:
:He launched into a random story about himself....of course. This time it was a adventure involving a lost treasure, buried at the bottom of a lagoon in the middle of a island. He was sure he had the guards attention when they began to group around his cel to listen:
"....so....we snuck up behind the lot of them...silent as the grave as Norrington would say.....swords out and all......o course they never had a chance....whole lot of them were tied to a tree before they could blink......."
:The story wove itself along, Jack doing his best to be entertaining. Something to keep him sane.:

*Elizabeth watched the blue sea almost all afternoon, leaving only to get the twins dressed and up, give them breakfast, and place their toys in the family room, for she felt they needed to be near.*
*She watched sadly as Will continued to stay by the window, and she made sureto bring him breakfast and lunch, as well as an apple to snack on.*
*She was about to see what the twins were up to when she saw something on the ocean...a ship...with...black sails!?! Twas them! She smiled and looked up at Will, so glad they'd arrived so soon, and scurried off into the family room to get the twins ready and to find Belle so she could ask her to watch the twins whilst she and Will made their way to the docks. But the pounding at the doors made her realize they'd been quicker. *
*With Will by her side, she opened the door and saw...twas Tobbs! Smiling as she saw the grin upon the others face, she spoke cheerfully*
"We saw you from the window and were about to go after you, but it seems you've found us first!"
*At Tobb's inquiry of Jack and his whereabouts, her smile faded and she looked up at Will, not knowing what to say at all*
"Umm...you see Tobbs...there's been an attack on Port Dantes...and they think..."
*She couldn't say anymore about it, twas too hard to tell the lady before her. She looked up to Will for some help with it*

*Will spent the entire day beside the window, gazing out at the docks. He thanked Elizabeth as she brought him food while he watched then he saw it. He saw the Pearl pull into the docks and his heart nearly jumped from his chest. He was overwhelmed with joy.* Elizabeth they're here! *He cried, smiling at her happily. As she readied the twins he grabbed his jacket then heard a loud pounding at the door. Elizabeth stood beside him and opened it and before him was Tobbs. He pulled her into a warm and friendly hug and smiled at her, happy they had arrived. The twins scurried over and took a spot behind their father, peeking out from behind his legs at Tobbs and any of those with her. Catherine smiled shyly up at her. Then Tobbs asked about Jack and all happiness he had just had slipped away and he frowned sadly.* He's at the fort Tobbs, they've arrested him and put him in jail. They're claiming that he slaughtered those at Port Dantes. *Will explained, although he figured she had the jist of it. Then slipping on his jacket he looked at Elizabeth and kissed her softly, then patted the twins on the head.* Follow me Tobbs, I'll take you to Jack. The rest of your crew is more than welcome to stay here at the house while they're in Port Roayle. Elizabeth and Abigail can fix up some beds and food for them. *Will said then headed towards the Fort with Tobbs.*

Emma halfway wanted to stay on the ship;it had been two years since her last visit to Port Royal, and most of the people whom she had know thought her dead...mainly owing to the fact that she had staged her death before stowing away on a boat to Tortuga, abandoning her attempt at a civilized lifestyle. But she couldn't stay;now that she ship had safely docked, she would be no help to anyone there.
She walked off of the ship, down the docks, and towards the fort. She knew that the Navy kept their prisoners there.
As she walked briskly down the streets of Port Royal,Emma was stunned at how many people she recognized. Many of them stared at this girl in her odd clothes...She hoped no one would recognize her.Emma arrived at the fort, and slunk down to where the cells were, not knowing anything else she could do.

Post by Commodore Patrick Norrington on Sept 7, 2003 20:07:59 GMT -5
*Norrington had been looking on the whole situation with growing disbelief, and total dread. How could Jack Sparrow, a longtime friend, and one of the few men Patrick respected completely, not to mention trusted...how could he so rampantly killed like this.....Norrington decided his time for action was at hand. Walking down the steps, towards the cells, Norrington waved aside the guards, and was standing inside the cell with Sparrow. No one else was there....he began to speak*
Jack...after everything, everything you've, we've been through. I still can't bring myself to believe that your capable of such...such hate?...what brought you to this? And by God Jack, don't give me any of your pirate shtick, i'm sick of it frankly. I'm on your side here, but let me tell you, that side is shrinking by the moment, and the evidence is mounting....go on now, don't be shy, it's just me...

:Jack stood up as Norrington came in. and looked him over a bit. He'd changed. He wasn't as......arrogant as the first time they'd met......nor was he as crazy as he had been during the last adventure:
:Quite frankly...he was all Jack had at the moment as far as hope went. So he remained silent a long while, finally when he spoke it was in a odd sort of voice. Devoid of any bravo or jauntiness: "Commodore...." He stoppe,d not sure what to say really.:
"You let me go after you were set on hanging me......and I swore I'd never forget that....you noticed that the sea around Port Royale has been...calmer lately? Who do you think is keeping the pirates away mate?" He said softly.:
"Quite honestly mate....I may be dishonest about some things.....but it's the dishonest ones you have to listen to when they say they're being honest.....cause that's one of the things they won't be dishonest about....savvy?"
:he shook his head, trying to stay serious: "Look, Commodore....I don't know what i'm in here for...other then something about Port Dantes.....and if buying a few suppiles and gifts there is a crime.then I'm guilty....."

(ooc:Snakes' color will be in Maroon !)
*Tobbs grinned when Will gave her a hug, happy to see him after such a long time, glad he and his family were well. She smiled at Catherine and James and knelt down to be eye level with them, bringing out two lollipops she'd collected from Port Dantes for them.*
*She stood back up and looked to Will, and when he explained where Jack was, she couldnt speak, much less move. Slaughtered Port Dantes? All they'd done was buy bloody things, and now they were claiming Jack and the crew did it? Aye, there'd be hell to pay soon enough!*
*She followed Will down the streets towards the forts, now piecing everything together. Some of the crew was behind her, and she, glad to have them with her, was solemnly pondering what to do. If Jack was in jail, she'd get him out...at all costs she'd do it...*
*As her thoughts roamed, they turned a corner, and suddenly she was grabbed by the collar and ripped into a corner alley, and she felt cold steel upon her throat. Looking back to the street, she saw Will turn with the others out of sight and into the fort.*
*Sighing, she knew probably it'd be some robber who wished for her gold and shillings. She almost wanted to laugh. Stupid twits. Had they ever robbed a pirate before? Better yet, her?*
*She was walking backwards, unable to see the attacker's face, the steel digging in. She even winced once as she tried to struggle when passing into another alley. Finally, in an old, eerie alley, she was stopped.*
*She looked around. Everything was silent, and the stone walls were broken and tattered, the only hint of people ever being here was the wooden gate just to the right of her. She had an idea. Turning abruptly so that she faced the attacker, she was about to slam her head into his when she gasped at what she saw. Twas Snakes...and not just him, but his men as well!*
*Snakes grinned a toothy grin as he saw her suprised face. Yes, he'd sailed as quick as he could from the time he made that hole to the time he got to the docks. He'd been waiting for her, and now she was found. He did have some business to attend about her, but since she couldnt be killed since he was told not to do so, he could always...hurt her a bit...just to make up for his slit shoulder. Maybe a bruise or two? After all, she'd tossed his pride aside once, she deserved it!*
*Slamming her against the wall, he stood back, sword now to her throat. Aye, he knew not why the twit wanted her alive, she was a vile being who should be killed, but orders were orders, and the man had come with him, so he couldnt kill her lest he die as well.*
*Tobbs glared at him, angry he'd delayed her from getting to Jack. Now how would she reach him? She didnt even know where she was!*
"Whats it ye want with me? I'm not gonna be one 'o yer bloody members, I don't kill fer money, nor kill innocents!"
"Aye, I don' wan' ye apar' a me group! I've business wih ye lass!"
"I've been wanted dead? *she actually laughed* "And ye were 'ired to do so?"
*Her laughter only angered him*
"Aye, wha' be so funny?" *She kept laughing* "Arrg!! Stop it ye scalliwag!" *He'd always seemed to be laughed at, and to be laughed at by her was worse. Someone nudged him on the shoulder.*
*Twas her chance. She slammed her knee in his stomach, stepped upon one's toes, elbowed another in the face, and punched one in the face before dashing down the alley. As she tunred the corner, she heard something flying through the air and almost fell to the ground when she felt the stone smash against the place she'd been hit, just past the right side of her forehead and up past her ear. She continued on, hand on head, to where she hoped she Will last.*
*Dashing into one of the main streets, she saw a man come towards her. He looked oddly familiar, similar in fact to herself, but the pain was too immense to concentrate on his similarity to her. Now she needed to get to Jack.*
*Stephen (aye, pronounced Steffen, not Steven) had been walking upon Port Royale's streets, heading to the tavern he'd payed to stay at, when he saw someone dash out from the alley and onto the streets, someone very familiar. Running to her aid, he noted she had a vague similarity to his appearance.*
"Excuse me miss, let me help you. You're hurt, and it seems someone's tried to rob you from the looks of it?"
*She looked up and tried to grin* "Just 'o couple ' bad eggs is all! Nuttin' to worry about, and I'm fine, nuttin' is 'urt but me 'ead."
*So she was a pirate! No wonder she was still standing and not in a dress!*
"You are hurt, and twould be rude to let leave you here all alone. Where are you residing?"
"I aint not but a pirate and big words arent good fer me 'ead right now, did ye ask where I was stayin?"
*She watched him nod* "Well, I'm a trying to find the fort, someone I know is in a cell there, could you show me the way?"
*He shook his head* You need to be resting, or taking care of that cut! *He pointed to the blood that was beginning to run down her cheek* Where is it you stay? *When she muttered something and he caught Turners in it, he knew to take her to the Turners as he knew them for a time. Leading a muttering Tobbs down the streets, forcfully but nonetheless gently, he got her to the Turners, told Elizabeth all about it, and heard Tobbs muttering still as she was led inside. Sighing, he knew there was something about her...twas a familiarsense, and their similarity shocked him. He'd have to go find Snakes and ask about this.*

(OOC: I don't really have anything to do, so I'm gonna go get plastered at the bar, savvy? ) ~Captain Barbossa ::Barbossa wandered through the dark streets of Port Royal, feeling slightly nervous that someone would recognize him. He pulled his cloak tighter around him, glaring at a couple walking past him, and placed his hand on his sword. But they went by, never even stopping to look at him, and he relaxed his grip. This was too much for him. He needed a drink. He saw a tavern sign hanging on the corner, and stepped through the doors. Once inside, he sat down at a table in the corner, where he would be almost completely concealed by the shadows. He ordered a large tankard of Grog, and removed his cloak. He sat there, drinking his ale, and wondering where the bloody 'ell Clarion, Jacqueline, and Hawk were. He quickly drained his mug, and ordered another, and another, until he was beginning to feel a bit better about the whole situation. He got up from the table, a little shakily, and staggered out of the tavern. His cloak is left on the back of his chair, quite forgotten. As he walked toward the fort where Jack was being held prisoner, he began humming "Yo ho, yo ho, a Pirates Life for me"::

Emma walked confidently into the fort."Let's see,"she muttered."If I remember right, the prison was over here..."As she strode over to the stairs leading down,a guard stopped her.
"Hey,"he said, his face stern,"Civilians aren't allowed below unless they've got business in the prison."
Emma smiled grimly. At least know she knew for sure which way to go.
"Well,"said she,"I'm not entirely sure I can be described as a civilian, for starters,an' I've got business below. So,if ye'll excuse me..."She walked around him,but he blocked the doorway.Emma sighed, rolled her eyes, and gave him a look which told him quite distinctly that she considered him a moron.
The officer frowned.Something about this girl was familiar.Something in her speech,in the way she carried herself...She gave him a condescending look, and his eyes opened wide.
"Emma?Is that-"
He didn't have a chance to finish his inquiry,as Emma knocked him out with the hilt of her sword and went soundlessly down the stairs.
