"Call it curiosity..." Puck said and then eyed Elizabeth's iron poker nervously. He lifted James up and cradled him carefullly then handed him over to Elizabeth::
"He's a interesting baby." Puck added with a grin, hovering a few feet away, not wanting to give Elizabeth the chance to attack him. He looked around nervously, his eyes searching the room for any threats::
"Well...I best be going then...unless you need anything else....." He added carefully, still eyeing the poker::#nosmileys

::Jack nodded tiredly then walked inside the Turner house. He looked around a bit then just walked right upstairs, looking haggard:
::He sighed then flopped down on the bed, closing his eyes a few seconds later:: "I'll be up around dawn.....find Mark....." He muttered and yawned, then he opened one eye and looked at Tobbs::
::He reached out an arm for her and when she came over he wrapped his arm around her tightly, then closed his eyes:: "Thank you for staying near me...."

*Elizabeth sighed with relief as she felt the weight of James in her arms again. She smiled lovingly at him, and gratefully at Puck, whom she knew not, and was still unsure about.*
"Thank you...and...and well, there is something..."
*She looked out the window, searching the streets with ehr eyes.*
"My husband...William Turner...he's been missing all night...I dont know where he is...if you could jsut tell me...if he's alright..."
*She loked rather hopefully at him.*

*Tobbs then let Jack lead in the home, up the stairs, and on the bed, where she threw off everything that would be uncomfy to sleep in, and watched him lie down.*
*When he beckoned ehr over, she lay down beside him, resting her head on his chest and cuddling up against him, sighting sleepily.*
"Mind if we say we'll get up at dawn..and just sleep in until noon?"
*She smiled, and her smile grew at his thanking ehr.*
"Of course...I'll be right beside you, I promise...never out of reach...I need you too right now..."
*She mumbled the last bit as she closed her eyes.*

::Puck nodded, almost curious by her request. He was silent a long time then nodded::
"He's fine....just out with his thoughts right now....he'll be back soon...."
::Puck shifted a bit then turned aroundm looking at the hallway. He then looked at Elizabeth again:: "Sorry...again......but I promise he's not hurt....."
:he smiled faintly and hovered around the room, sitting cross legged in the air as he did::
::He kept his eyes on the door to the baby's room, clearly listening for any sounds that he considered a danger to himself. His hair and clothes were ruffled by a non existent wind...clearly something that followed him where he went...::
::His ears came into view, long pointed ears that were clearly meant for a elf, jutted out from his mane of white hair. He was the very picture of all that was not supposed to be real::
::He could hear a good deal of things.....and he heard Jack and Tobbs come back. He smirked to himself then looked at Elizabeth and her baby again, his odd eyes glowing::
::Magical creatures had an odd affinity for non magical creatures. Much the way a human would be curious about a fairy. It was in this way Puck was curious about this baby. He hadn't of course meant any harm, and really had only intended to take the child while nobody noticed::
::He flew over and hovered over Elizabeth's shoulder, eyeing James with a wide open smile::#nosmileys

Emma smiled gratefully at Evelyn."Ye'd let us stay with ye?Thanks, mate, saves us a lot'f trouble...we'll repay the favor someday..."She helped push the pile aside, still smirking slightly."So...'o's this fellow yer talkin' about?Got to be one interesting case if 'e makes me qualify as sane,"quipped the young woman, brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes.
"'S an understatement 'f I ever 'eard one,"countered Rick, who was still rather unsure what to make of the whole situation."I'm with Em,though...what's all this abou'?I coulda sworn I saw Evy with flowers, but there's gotta be an explanation, aye?"He grinned, green eyes sparkling with amusement.

*Eric glanced over at Emma and Rick as they left and his eyes fell on Evelyn as she called to them. When the sounds of approaching feet filled the air she grabbed his arm and he rushed off with her into a darkened corner where they could watch what would happen from a safe distance.
As the woman began to speak again he looked over at her, frowned a bit and nodded softly. After the way Mark had acted at the dinner tonight it seemed like everything had been forgiven but obviously it had been far from over. It bothered him greatly that the man had been willing to mess with everyones lives when Jack was the only one he was TRUELY upset with.* Apparently the whole cake escapade was part of his plan....I don't think he meant it as a friendly gesture...not even to us. *He said, his frown deepening.
He remembered the talk he and Mark had had a while back in the jungles near El Dorado. The man had seemed good at heart even though Eric knew he had been harboring a lot of anger. He never dreamed it would come out like this, if it even had at all. He still didn't know what to think about it all...or what to even do.
When he noticed her looking him over he smiled at her only a little.* Well...it looks like you ended up getting stuck in Port Royal anyways. Funny the way things work. *He grunted, going over to her and slinging his arm about her shoulders. In a way he felt bad for Evelyn. The sea was where she belonged and now it looked like they were going to be on land for a good long while. He always knew he'd adjust well enough to a ship...but he doubted she'd do too great in a house.* Ah but we always manage to fix things. I doubt this'll be any different. *He walked away a little and looked out at the wreckage once more and shook his head.
He was about to speak again when a strange kind of feeling came over him. He smiled fondly as images of he and his sister Melissa playing as children flooded his mind. A moment later the memories were followed by a strange but playful voice. His brow furrowed curiously and he wondered if the days events were going to his head and making him a little insane. He glanced over at Evelyn to see if she noticed it...her startled slam into him showed him she had. He instinctivly took a dominating stance in front of Evelyn, eyeing this curious being.
Oddly enough he didn't feel threatened by it but none the less the creature seemed out of place. When Evelyn confronted the man...or whatever it was Eric watched her. He laughed a little when she confessed to not knowing what was just said. Eric hadn't the slightest clue either. Suddenly he blinked as Evelyns daggar became a boquet of flowers. What WAS this thing? As the two began to speak to one another Eric could only listen, a boyish grin on his face as he thrust his hands in his pockets, clearly ammused though he didn't know why.
When she seemed disgusted with the flowers Eric made mental note never to get her any when a weapon would suffice. Then the flowers found their way to their hair and Eric eyed her.* Well don't you look like a lady. *He laughed, poking at one of them. But as Evelyns voice came from the thing he blinked startled and his head tipped to one side.
Before he had time to react he and Evelyn both were piled under a mound of pillows and blankets. Eric blinked a few more times and slowly turned his head to face Evy. She asked for his help to remove the flowers and he rolled his eyes but quickly did so. When finished she pulled him to his feet and their hands clasped. He followed her gaze to Emma.
He glanced between Rick and Emma and a curious smile spread over his face, his eyes danced a little with the moonlight. This night couldn't possible get more insane or interesting.* We'll explain at the house...right now Id really rather just be inside. *He stated, giving Evelyns hand another fond squeeze before he released it and made towards his small home.*
ooc: Will post as Will tonight everyone *nods*

::Jack nodded and closed his eyes and held Tobbs closer. He kept his eyes on the window. He'd have to deal with Mark later. He frowned then turned his head to the door::
::He looked at Tobbs, then back again at the door. A new voice that he didn't recgonize as one of his crew, or the Turners, or Norrington's was coming from down the hall. Jack frowned. The voice was a bit odd::
::Given that his ship had just gotten destroyed he was a bit on edge. He glanced at Tobbs and then carefully disentangled himself before grabbing a sword and going to the door. He whispered in case she could hear him:: "I'll be right back, I promise luv..."
::and he slipped from the room and shut the door behind him and made for the new voice. He really wouldn't have cared so much if it wasn't for the night's events before now. He went to the James's room and waited outside the door, listening:::

Rhys nodded slowly as Sam demanded that he answer a question for him before he would help her. She would tell him anything at the moment, she was only concerned for Mark. She had no idea what he would ask, no clue, but she prepared herself for some hard questions.
"Do you love him?" Sam had asked. He had asked and she froze. He drew her close softly and she stared at him with wide eyes. Pulling back from him startled she stared at him for a long moment unable to think or do anything. His embrace worried her, but it was something she shoved to the back of her mind to answer his question and save Mark first. She would deal with this new problem later.
After a long moment she spoke, "I don't know." She paused for another long time, "I don't even know if I can love." Before he could ask she found herself whispering as much of an explanation as she could manage, "I've been through some things that make me doubt that love is possible for me. Or that I could even allow myself to love."
She paused and was lost in her own thoughts for a moment, before looking back at Sam, "That's not the issue at the moment, though. We need to stop him, Sam. If the Captain doesn't kill him, then the rest of the crew will." She burried her head in her hands hair falling and masking her face, "I tried to talk him out of it, I'm not sure I go through to him." Her voice was slightly muffled as she talked. "I don't know how to stop him, I need help, please?" she pleaded.

::Puck eyed the door as he heard Jack approach. He could feel the tension, and thinking this was not the best way to meet Jack he bowed in the air quickly::
"I had best depart. For all questions you have just call for the Merry Wanderer of the Night!" He smiled, ruffled the baby's hair and disappeared in a flash of green light::
::He reappeared directly in Evelyn's path, smiling brightly and with a impish look of mischief in his eyes::
"Well well....ill met by moonlight Proud Evelyn." He smiled then glanced at her company with a smile:: "And friends..." ::he bowed and hovered a few inches from the ground, eyeing them all with a look of amusement:::

Sam looked down and shook his head. Not what he expected to hear. He looked up at the woman...she seemed a little uncofortable right now. He took a deep breathe and began to speak:
"I don't know isn't good enough. I need to know that you are trying to protect him because you love him...not just because you don't want them to fight. It's their fight not our's. I can't help you Rhys. If he intends to finish it he will...if he doesn't then he won't. Don't try to stop him. It's between Jack and [/b]Mark[/b]. If Mark has to fight the rest of the crew...God help him....then so be it. But he won't back down. He is not the coward you all think he is. How do you know they will even fight Rhys? For all we know Mark will try to strike a deal. I can't help you...I'm sorry. Mark is like a brother to me...I'd help him...but I know this is his battle.....only he can choose how to finish it."
He waited for a reply. She seemed deep in thought...for all he knew she was plotting how to stop it....He didn't expect her to follow his wishes.[/color]

Mark opened his eyes to find the sun begginning to sift through the window blinds. He got up and took a last drink of Rum. He put on his clothes and his "Battle Garb". He grabbed a small brown pouch and walked out the door and went to the meeting place secretly. He made sure no one saw him. He kneeled against a tree waiting for Jack.
"He better come alone."
Mark said to himself. He began to think about Rhys. He hoped he'd make it out of here to see her again...he wanted to make things right between them again. He took out one of his pistols and began to shine it. He looked up at the clouds. They showed with an orange and red sceme. Not a good sign.

She looked to Emma and then over at Eric as he gently squeezed her hand and then slipped away from her. "Well, if ye ever see the bloke ye'd see jus' how odd he is." Evelyn reiterated, giving Emma a nod and a small smirk before heading away after to Eric, behind him just by a few steps and looked over her shoulder at Rick and Em. "An' no worries mates. We have plenty of room an' besides...wouldn' like ta know YOU two were out an' roamin' 'bout the city without me nearby ta break ye out if ye end up behind bars." Evelyn laughed, giving them both a small wink.
Just then however, Evelyn bumped into something and she shook her head. Her hand swiftly went towards her dagger and she looked straight ahead at the man before her. It had been the same one she had spotted before. "YOU AGAIN!?" Evelyn roared, her eyes widening and then narrowing in record time.
She rolled her eyes at him as he spoke and crossed her arms instead. She decided the man was no threat, but still his presence was a bit unnerving and she looked past him towards Eric as if watching how he would take the presence of the being again. "What d'ye want? Talk 'bout bloody luck..." She muttered as she gave a deep sigh, looked him over with casual eyes, and then lifted a curve brow.

"'You again?Who're ye tal...kin'...?"
The first thing Emma noticed about the man who appeared was that he seemed somehow...unusual.The second thing she noticed confirmed this suspicion,as he seemed to be floating in the air.She blinked, trying to make the vision go out of her head.
"Rick?R'mind me not t'drink so much,lad,I think I've started seein' things..."She made a vague,waving gesture towards the Puck,shaking her head."I could swear t'ye right now,there's a man floatin' a good three,four inches in th' air...Heh heh...'s funny,really..."
"Well..."said Rick slowly,"I...don' think i's th' rum talkin',Em.I've not touched th' stuff all day,an' I see 'im,too..."He stared, his eyes wide,as memories suddenly sprang to mind of nights around the fire...back in his home,a small fishing village on Skye...his relatives from the mainland, telling outrageous tales...
Which weren't seeming all that outrageous now, especially considering all their crew had been through before...
He cleared his throat."I...don' mean t'sound...presumptuous...insane...anythin' like tha',but...are ye...are ye a fairy?"
A burst of laughter escaped Emma."Rick,lad,are ye sure y'haven' been drinkin'?Y'sure's Hell sound like it..."With a smirk,she ruffled Rick's hair,then stepped close to Puck."I mean,he 'asn't got any wings...An' he's obviously not really flying,see,there's got t'be some kinda wires..."
As if to prove this, she waved her hands in the air around Puck, trying to find what was holding him up.When this proved unsuccessful, she tried again. Then she turned white, stepping back slowly."Evy...please explain this...'cause I think I must be losin' th' few marbles I 'ad left...."

Rhys raised her head slowly, letting Sam's words sink in. He wasn't going to help her. She was on her own, and all because she couldn't tell him that she loved Mark. Her eyes hardened as she looked at him. "If Mark dies, I truly hope you enjoy your stay here because you'll be staying here for quite some time if not underground." With that she turned and slipped out the window letting in close behind her with a small thud.
She made her way through the streets to Mark's home quickly. She was intent on finding him and keeping him away from the Captain. She didn't care how she had to do it. As she walked she noticed the sun beginning to peek up over the horizon. She cringed, she hadn't slept for two days. There was no time. Making it to Mark's home, she peered into his window and found the room empty. Breaking in, she wandered around finding the entire house empty. She let out a long string of curses. He had already left to meet Jack.
Back on the street, she ran like a maniac, her feet pounding the street as hard as they could. She skidded to a halt in front of the Turner's home. She had to stop Jack. She couldn't let them fight. She knew he was still inside, yet she couldn't go in. She just couldn't. Instead she sat down on the door step to catch her breath. However, the lack of rest started to catch up to her and she was soon asleep on the doorstep. Anyone entering or exiting would have to wake her to get by. The perfect unintentional trap for the Captain.
